Mayban and it's 50% Bumi equity requirement on panel lawfirms

As the Malaysian government's approach to continue to support the 30% Bumi equity stake in NEP policy, Mayban has now decided to impose it's own policy (a mini NEP) which require all it's panel law firms to have at least 50% bumi ownership.
The Mayban that i know stands for Malayan Banking and not Malay banking, if i knew they are that racist, i wouldn't have used them at the first place. I have been their customer for at least 20 years!! I have my account, current acc and share account with them, unfortunately.
I still remember when I was at the branch in Pantai Remis couple of years back, It was flooded by ppl mainly the Chinese. So many businessmen use them, banked in loads of cash collected from CNY business and ppl changed coins or notes from them... etc. Now mayban is massive, probably the biggest in MY, it is now big enough to set it's own rule. Thanks for your business guys ...

Will other races boycott the bank?, probably but this can be very difficult as you know not all other banks have the similar spread of branches across the whole penisular.
